This Keep is situated by the Newry tidal river near Warrenpoint, a small seaside town in Northern Ireland. The train line(closed since 1965) ran from Newry to Warrenpoint, around 6 miles through beautiful scenery. The Keep was built in the 16th century to guard against invaders coming up the river to Newry from the sea.
